Unholy Benefits Of Atheism

March 2, 2017 by Rajkumar Richard

Examining atheism from the vantage point of Christianity motivates a Christian to ask two questions. First, “what would I gain if I convert to atheism?” Second, “is there any value to the benefits stockpiled from atheism?” What would I gain if I convert to atheism? Thankfully, the “Creed” penned by the English poet and music journalist Steve Turner reflects the panoramic … [Read more...]

An Introductory Defense Of The Blessed Trinity

February 18, 2017 by Rajkumar Richard

The Bible reveals the distinctive and an essential Christian doctrine of the blessed Trinity. The Christian worldview makes this unique claim that God is one and yet there are three who are God. Although Natural Theology could posit God’s existence and HIS attributes, Trinity, however, belongs to revealed theology. Trinity is a unique nature of God, which can only be … [Read more...]

Grace vs Karma

February 2, 2017 by Rajkumar Richard

Do we reap what we sow? Do we get what we deserve when we die? Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism and Sikhism, India’s contribution to the world, teach that our thoughts and actions have consequences, namely rewards or punishments. Goodness leads to rewards and bad thoughts and actions lead to pain and suffering. This, in a nutshell, is Karma. On the other end of the religious … [Read more...]

God Is Necessary & Not Necessary For Morality?!

January 18, 2017 by Rajkumar Richard

“The Christian Post” recently published an article with a thought provoking title, “Atheist Sam Harris Partly Right That God Not Necessary for Morality, Christian Apologist Says.”1 A naïve reader of this article may think that Christianity endorses the atheistic notion that morality does not require God. Is it so? This is our first question. While discussing this subject … [Read more...]

Some Atheists Will Never Believe In God

January 2, 2017 by Rajkumar Richard

The epistemological objection of many atheists is that there is no concrete evidence for God’s existence. They argue, “If only I could see God, I would believe in HIM. Since no one can sense God with the five senses, belief in God is unreasonable and unjustified.” Although, superficially, this objection appears reasonable, there are several problems with this objection. … [Read more...]

Why Are You A Christian?

December 18, 2016 by Rajkumar Richard

Have you ever wondered why you are a Christian? If you have not, then please take a few moments off to consider an answer to this question. This is a significant question, for your answer should be credible. Let’s consider some answers to this question: … [Read more...]

Why Should We Trust The Old Testament? The Old Testament Is Not A Myth

December 2, 2016 by Rajkumar Richard

The Old Testament is rejected by a few for various reasons. Some reject it because they cannot comprehend an angry God - a God of wrath (e.g. Canaanite massacre, Levitical punishments etc.).  Others reject it because of the miraculous narratives such as the Red Sea parting, Jonah living in the big fish, talking snake etc. However, scores of Christians believe in the Old … [Read more...]

Why Believe Adam & Eve? (Defending Adam & Eve’s Existence)

November 18, 2016 by Rajkumar Richard

Bible reveals Adam & Eve’s existence. But quite a few people reject their existence. How then do we rationally defend the existence of Adam and Eve? In August 2013, Yahoo News reported the unraveling of a genetic Adam and Eve, who lived about 135,000 years ago [1]. This report was based on papers published in Science (August 2013). Genetic Adam and Eve are not to be … [Read more...]

Would A World Without Satan Lack Evil?

November 3, 2016 by Rajkumar Richard

The question, “Would there be less evil in a world without Satan?” could be relevant, for if the answer to this question is a yes, then we could plausibly ask, “Why did God create angels i.e. Satan, if evil in this world would be lesser without Satan?” Within this context, if God had not created Satan, evil would have been less, and our world would have been a good world. … [Read more...]

Why Did God Create Satan Knowing That Satan Would Cause Evil?

September 2, 2016 by Rajkumar Richard

No one is spared of evil. We either reel under the effects of evil or feel the impact of evil upon our relatives, friends and society at large. Some question God’s goodness on account of evil and a few others dispute God’s presence. Evil is real. Evil is not an illusion. Any sane human being would affirm this position. Terrorism or human trafficking is an act of evil, and … [Read more...]

Christian Apologetics Alliance is a Top 100 Christian Blog

Unity Statement

In essentials unity, in nonessentials liberty, in all things charity. The Christian Apologetics Alliance (CAA) is united in our Statement of Faith. The CAA does not, as an organization, have positions on many of the doctrinal or theological debates that take place within the church. Our primary concern is to promote the gracious, rational defense of the central claims of Christianity and the critique of opposing systems of thought. The CAA joyfully welcomes Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and diverse Protestant believers, and we are committed to treating all these traditions with respect in our community.
