Joseph Finder's "Paranoia": A Review

September 25, 2013 by Anthony Weber

When I saw previews for the movie version of Paranoia a couple weeks ago, I thought, “I believe I read that book last winter. Something about a self-centered jerk who got caught in the middle of corporate espionage between even bigger self-centered jerks, and I didn't really care what happened to him or anyone else at the end.” Yep, that was the one. I am apparently an … [Read more...]

Paul – Apostle or Fraud

September 24, 2013 by Mark McGee

“Paul is not essential. He’s not a requirement to be a Christian.” “You only have Paul’s word for being a ‘light to the gentiles’ and let’s face it Paul was known as a liar, he said so.” “Jesus never tells us to follow Paul. Paul tells us to follow Paul.” “Paul did not meet the criteria for being an apostle, therefore he wasn’t one except through his own … [Read more...]

Why "That's True for You, but Not for Me" Isn't True for Anyone

September 24, 2013 by Leslie Keeney

I am not a rabid anti-postmodernist; there are aspects of postmodernism that I find very helpful when talking and writing about faith. Relativism, however, is not one of them. One of the best examples of postmodern relativism is the catchphrase “that may be true for you, but it's not true for me.” Often, this phrase is  heard in the context of a conversation between a … [Read more...]

I've Tried Being an Atheist

September 21, 2013 by Steven Dunn

I don’t know if many other Christians or religious folks in general have ever made the attempt, but I myself have tried numerous to be an atheist. Now, when I say that, surely it easy to be thought that I have weak motivations for being a Christian, or that I’m trying to compromise my faith and find a way out so as to avoid moral obligation and so on and so forth, but I think … [Read more...]

Christian Apologetics Alliance is a Top 100 Christian Blog

Unity Statement

In essentials unity, in nonessentials liberty, in all things charity. The Christian Apologetics Alliance (CAA) is united in our Statement of Faith. The CAA does not, as an organization, have positions on many of the doctrinal or theological debates that take place within the church. Our primary concern is to promote the gracious, rational defense of the central claims of Christianity and the critique of opposing systems of thought. The CAA joyfully welcomes Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and diverse Protestant believers, and we are committed to treating all these traditions with respect in our community.
