Why Did God Create Satan Knowing That Satan Would Cause Evil?

September 2, 2016 by Rajkumar Richard

No one is spared of evil. We either reel under the effects of evil or feel the impact of evil upon our relatives, friends and society at large. Some question God’s goodness on account of evil and a few others dispute God’s presence. Evil is real. Evil is not an illusion. Any sane human being would affirm this position. Terrorism or human trafficking is an act of evil, and … [Read more...]

Apologetics: Answering Atheism, Naturalism in the USA, and the Reliability of the Bible

September 1, 2016 by Justin Steckbauer

Christian Apologetics is the reasonable defense of the Christian worldview.  Many would have you think that religious thought exists in a vacuum and runs absolutely contrary to reality.  That is not true.  It's not true. Christian apologetics is where a lot of the fire for my evangelistic spirit comes from.  People simply don't know, and no one is telling them.  The media is … [Read more...]

A Beginners Guide to Understand and Answer Dr. Bart Ehrman

August 18, 2016 by Rajkumar Richard

Dr. Bart Ehrman’s works could rattle the faith of naïve Christians. Hence, those who debate Christians frequently appeal to Ehrman's works. This is a beginner’s guide to comprehend Ehrman, and the scholarly response from Christian apologists to debunk his attacks against Historic Christianity. Who Is Bart Ehrman?          “Dr. Bart D. Ehrman is the James A. Gray … [Read more...]

Batman: The Killing Joke

August 16, 2016 by Anthony Weber

Zach Snyder's Batman v Superman offered a controversial dark knight that was truly beginning to fall into the darkness he claimed to fight (the extended addition makes that even more clear than the theatrical version). The Killing Joke, which is based on the 1988 story arc from Alan Moore and Brain Bolland, builds on this trajectory in a move that might rightly be called … [Read more...]

Politics & God: Should Christians be involved in Politics?

August 15, 2016 by Justin Steckbauer

Should Christians be engaged in politics?  The answer to that question is "yes!"  Christians are called to participate in society as a whole.  Christians always have been deeply involved in politics in the U.S.A. The founders of the United States were deeply religious people including George Washington, John Adams, and many others.  51 of the 55 signers of the Constitution were … [Read more...]

Why Do Christians Become Atheists?

August 2, 2016 by Rajkumar Richard

Atheism is disbelief or lack of belief in God. A minority of atheists do believe in a universal spirit or god. If we had our “questioning God” moments in our life, we would empathize with those who convert to Atheism. On the other hand, if our [Christian] life has been hunky-dory and comfortable thus far, we would be surprised, shocked, and even judgmental at those … [Read more...]

10 Answers to Common Questions Raised by Skeptics

August 1, 2016 by Justin Steckbauer

Have you ever been puzzled by the objections raised by skeptics in regard to Christianity?  Or maybe you are one of those skeptics?  If so, I'm glad you're here. As Dr. Ravi Zacharias would put it, "Apologetics is the seasoning, but the gospel is the main course."  I love apologetics, I find it absolutely fascinating.  I also secretly wish I had come into contact with … [Read more...]

Jesus In The Vedas?

July 18, 2016 by Rajkumar Richard

On 8th May 2016, the Gospel Truth Newspaper flaunted the conversion of Hindus in New Zealand.1 Apparently, the conversion was motivated by Acharya Vikas Massey’s speech that the Vedas (Sacred Scriptures of Hinduism) pronounces the Lord Jesus Christ as the one and the only way to heaven. I was exposed to this rather stunning detail many years ago, and I was astonished when I … [Read more...]

Ungracious Christians

July 2, 2016 by Rajkumar Richard

Philip Yancey, in his classic “What's So Amazing About Grace?” describes ungraciousness as, “Ungrace does its work quietly and lethally, like a poisonous, undetectable gas. A father dies unforgiven. A mother who once carried a child in her own body does not speak to that child for half its life. The toxin steals on, from generation to generation.” Around us, ironclad in their … [Read more...]

The Awe of Dreams and the Surreal

July 1, 2016 by Justin Steckbauer

Have you ever woken up in a dream and realized that you're still asleep?  Have you ever been convinced that you were awake only to find that were still in a dream?  Have you dreamt of a future that never existed?  What about about a past that never happened? Last night I looked up at the moon in the dark night sky and I was utterly shocked when it came into my mind that I'm … [Read more...]

Christian Apologetics Alliance is a Top 100 Christian Blog

Unity Statement

In essentials unity, in nonessentials liberty, in all things charity. The Christian Apologetics Alliance (CAA) is united in our Statement of Faith. The CAA does not, as an organization, have positions on many of the doctrinal or theological debates that take place within the church. Our primary concern is to promote the gracious, rational defense of the central claims of Christianity and the critique of opposing systems of thought. The CAA joyfully welcomes Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and diverse Protestant believers, and we are committed to treating all these traditions with respect in our community.
