Why Share Reasons to Believe?

May 8, 2012 by Mikel Del Rosario

Maybe you’ve encountered well-meaning Christians who look down on the practice of providing evidence for Christian truth claims. I used to get that a lot. How should you respond? … [Read more...]

The Resurrection of Jesus: My Unlikely Easter Conversation

April 8, 2012 by Mikel Del Rosario

Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally One Easter, a relative cornered me at a family reunion and wanted to talk about the resurrection of Jesus. Let's just call her my dear Aunt Sally. Some people try to stay away from politics and religion a parties. Not Aunt Sally. :-) Aunt Sally was Religious Studies major and she started off by telling me that Jesus didn’t come back from the … [Read more...]

Welcome to the New and Improved Christian Apologetics Alliance Website!

March 22, 2012 by CAA Guests and Features

I just wanted to take a few minutes to let everyone know that the new website for the Christian Apologetics Alliance is up and running. Much thanks to the CAA Admins who have put in so many hours to bring this vision to life! I don't want to forget anyone, but I definitely want to thank Arthur Khachatryan and Lauren Kimball. Special thanks also to the rest of the group for … [Read more...]

Reason, Science and Progress: Who Wants It More?

March 20, 2012 by Carson Weitnauer

In recent years, many atheists have prominently championed their allegiance to intelligent thought. For instance, there is “The Richard Dawkins Foundation For Reason and Science” and Sam Harris’ book “The End of Faith: Religion, Terror, and the Future of Reason.” Atheists sometimes refer to themselves as “freethinkers” and “brights.” The public perception that these atheists … [Read more...]

What is Christian Apologetics?

March 20, 2012 by Mikel Del Rosario

Many years ago, while I was in the Christian Apologetics program at Biola University, my wife and I attended a family gathering. A relative heard I was in grad school and asked me, “What are you getting your degree in?” I said, “Um... Apologetics.” She replied with a chuckle, “I’m SO sorry!” “It’s not really that bad,” I said, looking kind of confused. Today, I still get odd … [Read more...]

Christian Apologetics Alliance is a Top 100 Christian Blog

Unity Statement

In essentials unity, in nonessentials liberty, in all things charity. The Christian Apologetics Alliance (CAA) is united in our Statement of Faith. The CAA does not, as an organization, have positions on many of the doctrinal or theological debates that take place within the church. Our primary concern is to promote the gracious, rational defense of the central claims of Christianity and the critique of opposing systems of thought. The CAA joyfully welcomes Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and diverse Protestant believers, and we are committed to treating all these traditions with respect in our community.
