Review of David McAfee's Disproving Christianity and Other Secular Writings – A Sample

September 6, 2012 by Tyler Vela

In anticipation of the forthcoming publication of David McAfee's 2nd Edition of Disproving God and Other Secular Writings coupled with my full book length review of it, I thought I would here post the preface to the second edition of my review. Something to whet the appetite I hope: What follows is a revision of my original review of David’s first edition of Disproving … [Read more...]

Review: Seven Days That Divide the World by Dr. John Lennox

August 30, 2012 by Melissa Cain Travis

In Seven Days that Divide the World: The Beginning According to Genesis and Science, John Lennox addresses the science and theology relevant to the age-of-the-earth debate. This is a controversy that continues to escalate within the church, as young-earth advocates claim that acknowledgement of biblical authority and inspiration requires a young-earth interpretation of … [Read more...]

Book Review: From God to Us by Norman Geisler & William Nix

August 28, 2012 by Sarah Abbey

Every religion has a “sacred text” that is the basis of its authority. Islam has the Qur’an, Hinduism has the Vedas, and Mormons have The Book of Mormon. Christianity is no exception, having the Bible. It is the book Christians believe to be the “Word of God,” communicating who God is, humanity’s separation from Him, and God’s salvation plan through His Son Jesus Christ. There … [Read more...]

If God, Why Evil? By Norman Geisler – Book Review

August 27, 2012 by Mikel Del Rosario

Interested in some good Fall reading? Check out this book from Norman Geisler: If God, Why Evil? Probably the number one reason people say they have a hard time believing in God is the evil and suffering we see in the world. Where was God on 9/11? Why did God even allow the possibility of evil and suffering? So much of the evil we see seems totally pointless. How does the … [Read more...]

Christian Apologetics Alliance is a Top 100 Christian Blog

Unity Statement

In essentials unity, in nonessentials liberty, in all things charity. The Christian Apologetics Alliance (CAA) is united in our Statement of Faith. The CAA does not, as an organization, have positions on many of the doctrinal or theological debates that take place within the church. Our primary concern is to promote the gracious, rational defense of the central claims of Christianity and the critique of opposing systems of thought. The CAA joyfully welcomes Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and diverse Protestant believers, and we are committed to treating all these traditions with respect in our community.
