The Dinesh D’Souza Controversy

October 18, 2012 by Nick Peters

What can be said in light the Dinesh D’Souza controversy (accusation) (response) (King’s College Resignation)? At the very least, Dinesh began a relationship which led to engagement with Denise Joseph while separated from his wife, Dixie. His filing for divorce was registered with the court on October 4, but he had started the process, which takes time, two weeks before that. … [Read more...]

There has been a bit of an uproar about a 4th Century Coptic Manuscript which purportedly provides evidence that Jesus had a wife. Well, here are some great responses to the discovery. Reality Check: The "Jesus' Wife" Coptic Fragment- Daniel Wallace, an influential NT scholar, … [Read more...]

Politics from a Christian Perspective

October 8, 2012 by Alan Anderson

I am typically not a political writer. I write on Christian apologetics and do my best to assist people in their understanding of their Christian faith and how to best defend it. However, since the political scene is rather active with the Presidential debates and the Presidential election taking place within one month, I thought it might be a good idea to touch on how … [Read more...]

How to Respond to the Gospel of Jesus' Wife

October 5, 2012 by Mikel Del Rosario

Did Jesus Have a Wife? So your skeptical friend just heard about something called, "The Gospel of Jesus’ Wife." But unlike the fiction Dan Brown created in the Da Vinci Code, this wasn't in a movie or a novel. She just caught another sensational segment on the evening news talking about how controversial this new find is. And the media is jumping all over it. But this really … [Read more...]

Come to the Mission America Coalition’s Annual Conference! October 29-31 in Denver!

September 7, 2012 by Carson Weitnauer

What do Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis, The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel, and The Reason for God by Tim Keller have in common? Certainly, each of these books have been incredible bestsellers, inspiring millions to know and follow Jesus. But they are also books on apologetics. That is, they provide logical reasons and documented evidence that Christianity is really, … [Read more...]

The Emotional Tyranny of Whiners

August 2, 2012 by Nick Peters

Can't We All Just Get Along?! The text is as follows: Did your fries come at the cost of a soul yesterday? Let’s talk about it on Deeper Waters. Yesterday, my family and I went to our Chick-Fil-A. If your situation was like mine, we had police cars out front guiding traffic and long long lines outside the door. We waited well over an hour in line. We were there for dinner … [Read more...]

Chick-Fil-A Day

August 1, 2012 by Nick Peters

The post is as follows: Ready to go support the cause? Let's talk about it on Deeper Waters. Today is what we call Chick-Fil-A Day. It is a day where we will go to our local Chick-Fil-A's in response to the animosity they have received for their views on the family. Please note this at the start. Chick-Fil-A is not anti-gay. They are pro-family. There is a huge difference and … [Read more...]

Christian Apologetics Alliance is a Top 100 Christian Blog

Unity Statement

In essentials unity, in nonessentials liberty, in all things charity. The Christian Apologetics Alliance (CAA) is united in our Statement of Faith. The CAA does not, as an organization, have positions on many of the doctrinal or theological debates that take place within the church. Our primary concern is to promote the gracious, rational defense of the central claims of Christianity and the critique of opposing systems of thought. The CAA joyfully welcomes Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and diverse Protestant believers, and we are committed to treating all these traditions with respect in our community.
