Responding to Cultural Buzzwords: Tolerance, Multiculturalism, and Relativism

September 27, 2012 by Rob Lundberg

Have you ever been placed in a situation where you have pointed out particular problems in our culture, only to have someone respond back with "Judge not, lest you be judged..."? In that encounter were you ever given the chance to finish it for them? In many cases, Christians are not given a chance. It is because we are told that "toleration" in a pluralistic, multicultural … [Read more...]

Video Response #2 – My Response for My Atheist Friend, "Bionic Dance"

September 26, 2012 by Nelis Ebersohn and Jason Dennett

How does the Atheistic and Naturalistic Worldview holdup to answering 18 fundamental questions of human existence?  Does the atheist "Bionic Dance" have a good worldview, with good power to explain reality? This video is my response to "Bionic Dance", a popular atheist voice on YouTube with over 12,000 subscribers to her channel.  However, as you will see in the video, though … [Read more...]

Book Review: “Who Made God?” by Edgar Andrews

September 26, 2012 by CAA Guests and Features

Who Made God by Edgar Andrews offers a witty, heady read for Christians looking to interact with some of the most recent scientific theories. Targeted at Christians who have been befuddled by the latest scientific theories, interested skeptics who want to see if Christianity has anything to say about science, or Christian apologists looking to bolster their scientific … [Read more...]

On ENCODE, from the Last "Creationist" to Debate Richard Dawkins

September 25, 2012 by CAA Guests and Features

In light of the recent ENCODE results, we wanted to get Dr. Edgar Andrews' take on the matter, particularly as it concerns his debate with Dr. Richard Dawkins.  It is said that the last "creationist" Dr. Dawkins debated, before refusing to debate creationists (as defined by Dr. Dawkins), was Dr. Andrews.  After listening to this debate, I discussed it with Dr. Andrews and he … [Read more...]

Evolution, Morality, and Transformers

September 24, 2012 by Luke Nix

Recently I saw the movie "Transformers: The Dark Side of the Moon". I almost made it through the whole thing without a single thought about worldviews, philosophy, or apologetics. But, alas, near the end, something happened that my mind couldn't ignore (I pulled out my phone and immediately started taking notes). For those who are unfamiliar with the Transformers' basic … [Read more...]

A Simple Answer for the Complex Universe

September 24, 2012 by Seth Osenkarski

A recent article piqued my interest which has brought about much discussion between a whole host of people and me. This article, Can Science Disprove the Existence God? (sorry, the typo was in the title) by Natalie Wolchover, is essentially an interview of a theoretical physicist noting how advances in science are eliminating the evidence for design in our universe. However, I … [Read more...]

"Six Ways of Atheism" Answered

September 22, 2012 by Cory Tucholski

Geoffrey Berg, an unknown author with credentials he is deliberately concealing, has written a book entitled The Six Ways of Atheism: New Logical Disproofs of the Existence of God.  Berg touts the book as definitively disproving the existence of God, and containing arguments completely original to him. As it happens, neither is true.  None of the arguments are original to him, … [Read more...]

Video Response #1 To 18 Questions – My Atheist Friend, Michael

September 20, 2012 by Nelis Ebersohn and Jason Dennett

Can the Atheistic Worldview Answer 18 Questions of Fundamental Human Experience?  Is Atheism An Effective Explanation for what we observe in the Universe?  This is a video response to my atheistic friend, Michael, who recently began a dialogue with me regarding the evidence for the Christian Worldview.  In this video, I respectfully respond to the answers he gave me, and try to … [Read more...]

New Atheism and its Challenge to Prove the Existence of God

September 18, 2012 by Daniel Mann

New Atheist and physicist, Victor Stenger, laments that most atheists don’t challenge and ridicule religious belief. Therefore, he lays out several put-up-or-shut-up challenges for theists. (However, he seems to have Christians in mind.): • Many of the attributes associated with the Judaic-Christian-Islamic God have specific consequences that can be tested empirically … [Read more...]

Christian Apologetics Alliance is a Top 100 Christian Blog

Unity Statement

In essentials unity, in nonessentials liberty, in all things charity. The Christian Apologetics Alliance (CAA) is united in our Statement of Faith. The CAA does not, as an organization, have positions on many of the doctrinal or theological debates that take place within the church. Our primary concern is to promote the gracious, rational defense of the central claims of Christianity and the critique of opposing systems of thought. The CAA joyfully welcomes Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and diverse Protestant believers, and we are committed to treating all these traditions with respect in our community.
