Expert Testimony: The Existence of God, the Problem of Evil, and the Facts on the Bible

January 1, 2016 by Justin Steckbauer

One of the respected methods by which truth claims may be verified is by expert testimony.  Expert testimony is offered in court cases to assist in the search for truth.  In the same way, expert testimony from respected individuals in human history may offer voracity to the truth claims of the Christian faith. True faith, Christian faith is grounded in hard facts and … [Read more...]

Would Discovery of Aliens Destroy Christianity?

December 18, 2015 by Rajkumar Richard

Not all Christians may believe in the prospect of discovery of alien life, but all Christians should offer reasonable responses to honest questions. One such question is whether discovery of alien life would hurt Christianity. … [Read more...]

Should Christians Practice Yoga?

December 12, 2015 by Rajkumar Richard

Yoga is rapidly gaining popularity. Yoga (Transcendental Meditation – TM [1] is understood as a path of union with the divine in Hinduism. Yoga is any type of exercise (physical, mental or spiritual) that promotes an individual’s journey to a union with the divine. Should we practice yoga because it’s popular? … [Read more...]

What is the Matrix?

November 17, 2015 by Justin Steckbauer

What is the matrix?  In light of the rise in secular humanism and the growing concerns over political, economic, and banking corruption worldwide, one must wonder... What is going on here?  Why is the depravity so pervasive?  What is causing this rise in corruption? I first began to understand some things when I read a book called 1984 by George Orwell.  I … [Read more...]

Six Flawed Claims in Buzzfeed’s “I’m Christian But I’m Not…”

November 16, 2015 by Anthony Weber

Plenty has been written about Buzzfeed's viral video featuring people who address all the ways they believe Christians have been unfairly stereotyped. As much as I appreciate the spirit behind their attempt, I'm not as thrilled with every aspect of it. Though there are some solid observations, there are also a number of claims that reveal a fair amount of confusion about what … [Read more...]

Why Did God Kill the Midianite Boys in Numbers 31? Part Four.

August 25, 2015 by JC Lamont

Through literary apologetics, this four-part series examines one of the more difficult passages in which to reconcile the God of the Old Testament with the God of love, namely Numbers 31:13-18, which records the mass killing of Midianites including baby boys. As mentioned before, I find this particular passage abhorrent; however, after researching the cultural context, I do … [Read more...]

Why Did God Kill the Midianite Boys in Numbers 31? Part One.

May 25, 2015 by JC Lamont

“And Moses was angry with the officers of the army…[and] said to them, ‘Have you let all the women live? Behold, these, on Balaam's advice, caused the people of Israel to act treacherously against the Lord in the incident of Peor, and so the plague came among the congregation of the Lord. Now therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known … [Read more...]

Annihilation versus Eternal Torment: What Does the Bible Really Teach?

April 25, 2015 by JC Lamont

Entire books on this subject have been written, as well as innumerable articles, with both sides claiming Bible verses to support their interpretation. And while this topic will likely be debated until Jesus returns, it is one that I feel I cannot be silent on as the very character of God is at stake. Please note that my goal was to succinctly expound on why I believe what I … [Read more...]

Christian Apologetics Alliance is a Top 100 Christian Blog

Unity Statement

In essentials unity, in nonessentials liberty, in all things charity. The Christian Apologetics Alliance (CAA) is united in our Statement of Faith. The CAA does not, as an organization, have positions on many of the doctrinal or theological debates that take place within the church. Our primary concern is to promote the gracious, rational defense of the central claims of Christianity and the critique of opposing systems of thought. The CAA joyfully welcomes Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and diverse Protestant believers, and we are committed to treating all these traditions with respect in our community.
