“Christians – Children of God? Just Look at How They Act!”

November 20, 2012 by Daniel Mann

Many militant atheists will say, “Christianity screws up everything,” citing warfare, slavery, the Crusades and intolerance. Christians will generally respond in three different ways: “Christianity is about Christ and not about individual Christians. I am deeply sorry about what people who have called themselves ‘Christian’ have done. However, I’m here to tell you about … [Read more...]

The "False Gods" of Evangelicalism

October 5, 2012 by Ken Coughlan

On September 12, 2012, Rob Asghar wrote a blog post for the Huffington Post accusing evangelical Christianity of pledging allegiance to an unholy Trinity which he calls the idols of Mars, mammon and sexual purity. The idol of Mars refers to our allegedly bloodthirsty desire to resort to warfare when we should love our enemies instead. Our worship of mammon is illustrated … [Read more...]

On hypocrisy in the church

September 8, 2012 by Mark McIntyre

One common criticism of the church is that it is full of hypocrites, people who say one thing and do another. The problem with countering this criticism is that it is true. If we are honest, we will have to admit that none of us lives up to our own standard of behavior, let alone the standard set before us in Scripture. We all practice some level of hypocrisy in that there is a … [Read more...]

Christian Apologetics Alliance is a Top 100 Christian Blog

Unity Statement

In essentials unity, in nonessentials liberty, in all things charity. The Christian Apologetics Alliance (CAA) is united in our Statement of Faith. The CAA does not, as an organization, have positions on many of the doctrinal or theological debates that take place within the church. Our primary concern is to promote the gracious, rational defense of the central claims of Christianity and the critique of opposing systems of thought. The CAA joyfully welcomes Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and diverse Protestant believers, and we are committed to treating all these traditions with respect in our community.
